Howdy... I'm on my way back from my mental vacay. Sometimes you have to take some time off from everything to get your mind right. Erykah Badu wrote 'Window Seat' just for me... lol.
I was at traffic court a few days back. I had a super early check in time but if any of you know, that appointment time means nothing. I stood in a line that wrapped around a building, so I decided to people watch. There was a really hip, trendy chick in line. Fly sunglasses, hot white handbag- just really cute for it to be 8 am. As the line moved, I noticed there was something special about her leggings. They had bows on them! I don't know her name, but cute girl, thanks for inspiration! Gotta buy these!
OWWWW! I really want these! Charlie 5 Point mini bow leggings on BoutiqueToYou.com on sale for $79! I have $79... I'm gonna buy these this week! These leggings are cute & multi-functional- pumps, sandals, flats, dressy or casual. You gotta buy some too!
I have a thing for white shirts. Long sleeves, short ones, tanks, tight, loose- you can't go wrong with a white shirt. I'd pair this Mango brand shirt
with the leggings. It has a cute zipper in the back
and obviously everyone loves it because its on backorder on Asos.com for $33.65-
Black & white works on a job interview... so I'd turn the outfit up with a bright, splashy color and one of my favorite things; A CARDIGAN!!!
Victoriassecret.com for $29.50- you can buy a bunch of these at this price. The short sleeves give it a different cardigan look. You can do this for summer with a tank or like I did, layer it with sleeves. Push the shirt sleeves back, grab some bracelets & pumps like these
Steve Madden makes these. 'Caryssa' on Piperlime for $89.00... I bought these back at Christmas from Bakers & I love them. This is a great shoe at a reasonable cost- hell, Rachel Zoe made them one of her shoe picks on Piperlime (after I bought them... assume what you will from my comment...).
I made a new friend a few months ago. We'd met once or twice before but this particular night after talking about potato chips, she became one of my favorite people. Fast forward a few months and my new stylish friend launched a seriously fly, grown up blog about everything from Henna hair coloring to recipes to DIY projects & her fashion picks (which are fly!)- check out

Scarcity...
Hi...
I haven't blogged in a few weeks and even though I find awesome stuff online everyday, I haven't wanted to share... until now. Instead of being on the couch moping, I'm showing you these...
AMAZING! Kitty-cooper.co.uk These are custom made shoes- it takes about 21 days to make them but so worth it! I think I love this pair the most. That sweet little bow makes a sexy shoe sexier. SInce I'm building a business, I'm adding this to my list of things to get when the checks start rolling in... what do you think?

Burning a Hole in My Pocket
I think I've said it a few times... I like shopping. Buying things makes me feel good. Buying detergent makes me happy. Magazines give me a rush. We shouldn't even talk about what gum does... I found some really random things I'd like to drop a few bucks on. Let me know what you think-
I am working to invest money on things, including clothes. When you buy certain things, its to have it for a while.. think of it as an investment. This dress is one of those cases.. its a Rachel Palley tulip dress. I really like dresses made of jersey. No matter what you wear with it, it works. Sandals, pumps, gold belt, cardigan... they all work. This reminds me of a really sexy, simple dress you'd take on a vacation. Shopbop.com $233.
I didn't ever watch The Hills but I know Lauren Conrad always has on something amazing. She has a clothing line that's not too bad. Some "stars" need to stick to what they're famous for (I'm not saying any names...) but she's done okay...
$39.99 at Kohls- you can do $39.99!
You guys know I like shoes... I may buy these tomorrow...
'Tucker WP' Bakershoes.com, $79.90- no brainer!
I don't know what I'd do with this but I want it...
This makes me think old Hollywood glamour- a feathered cape? I want it to hang in my closet... Asos.com $90.
What do you think of my random wants?

Burning a hole in my pocket!
I filed my taxes last night & I am so pumped to be getting a refund! I think refunds are to be spent on something you wouldn't or couldn't spend your paycheck money on unless there's a huge expense hanging over your head and you've been counting the days 'till you got that extra guap to catch up. I think I can kinda afford to blow mine on something fun (key word being 'kinda" 'cause there's ALWAYS something I could pay. That Target credit card has a death grip on my credit score- lesson learned... always carry 50% of your available credit line on your card...). So if I decide to "tho' it in da' bag", here are my top 3 splurges...
I'm a sucker for some good shoes, these days, especially a sexy pump. This is a sexy pump- Elizabeth and James 'Nora' at Bloomingdales.com for $365. Yes, the profile of this shoe is hawt but this is why I fell face-first
Guhdness!!! Leather lace, a 5 inch heel AND a platform?! You like them too, huh?
Since I'm spending found money, 2 pairs of shoes aren't a bad idea... especially when this is the second pair...
'Paris' by Elizabeth and James for $365 at Shopbop.com is a serious shoe. This is the kind of shoe you could wear a really hot dress, business look or some jeans & a v-neck white tee with. Are you smiling yet? No-? Try this...
You are now I'm sure. I just stumbled upon Elizabeth & James shoes and I am completely impressed. I think shoes do something for an outfit, no matter the outfit. With all the Hot Girls (Beyonce, Lady Gaga, J-Lo, Zoe Saldana, Anne Hatheway...) making us drool with their $1000 shoes, we want to keep up. However, I don't have $1000 to spend on shoes just yet- Elizabeth & James seems to make drool worthy shoes at a doable, semi-affordable price. Google them... or just wait for the pics of mine on my feet in about 10 days (direct deposit is genius!)
I bought my Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Dr. Q' bag with my refund year before last. Its only right to continue the refund-purse-purchase tradition this year with...
'Morning After' Satchel by Rebecca Minkoff. LOVE IT! I have been seeing lots of her bags for almost a year now & I think I may be a fan. Its almost impossible to find a really pretty, leather bag for under $600- Rebecca Minkoff has done it. I saw a woman with one last week at Queen Bee in Culver City (google it, then make an appointment with Jodi; you & your huney will thank me- post a comment- lol) with one. I try not to stop people that look snooty & ask about their wares, but I had to! I'm kinda sure I'm getting this one! NeimanMarcus.com, $550 plus free shipping!!
What are you buying with your refund? Share!!! I'm on direct deposit countdown!!!

I broke...
So my plan for the year is to buy smarter. I adore shopping... you guys know that... so today, I came to terms with it myself. I like buying things- lol- and I think I always will. The goal is to accept it then make better, wiser choices (sounds good, right?). With that in mind, I bought these today...
Thigh boots are a wardrobe staple... don't judge me! I bought a pair at lunch and a hamburger. UrbanOutfitters.com $148.00. I like them so much I wanna wear them with sexy underwear and nothing else- lol...
Its not going to be winter forever, so I'm snatching up cute stuff now... like this?
Asos.com, on clearance for $37.39. I think I need one...
Confession time- I bought more than those boots today... I spent about $30 at Forever21.com today. Another one of those functional purchases- a cardigan & some rings. The plan is to wear the cardigan with the boots on date night... with those sexy panties... lol.
I'm back!

Happy New Year...
Hi guys!
I said it once before, I had no intention of participating in the recession. However, it wanted to make me play with it. I haven't been doing a whole lot of shopping, trying to get smart about how I spend my money. I think I need to start being smarter about how I spend my money. There's nothing like buying 5 or 6 pairs of shoes in a month, but there is a really great feeling buying this
That was my Christmas gift to myself...
I'll be back to buying shoes later this week... maybe...
